The forest of lights is open every day from November 3rd to January 8th from 5 pm until midnight. Hundreds of visitors from across South Florida visit Santa’s Enchanted Forest every year to experience the nostalgia and magic of millions of dazzling lights, festive Christmas music, live entertainment, and South Florida’s tallest Christmas tree light show. This year marks the parks 25th anniversary, and is sure to be packed with many surprises. Single-day tickets start at $31.78 for adults and $22.43 for children; season passes are available and additional charges for food and carnival games apply.
Zoo Miami’s Zoo Lights
Let the lights of the holiday season, surround you with holiday spirit and joy at Zoo Miami’s special holiday event, Zoo Lights that features more than half a million bright lights, animal shaped lights, and dazzling tree lights. From December 16th through December 26th, starting at 7 pm until 10 pm, visitors can take a night stroll through the zoo and enjoy nightly carolers and other festivities. The carousel will be open for the kids, and kids at heart, to ride. Santa will also be on hand to take pictures with all the good girls and boys; make sure to tell Santa what you want for Christmas! Admission to Zoo Lights is $9.95 per person. Each attendee will receive 3D glasses to see special effects hidden in the Christmas light displays.
George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® Performed by Miami City Ballet
Every year The Adrienne Arsht Center opens its doors to thousands of glistening eyes and ears longing to witness the timeless beauty of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®. Be prepared for an amazing experience brought to you by the Miami City Ballet. This holiday classic is the perfect holiday treat for everyone. Set on Christmas Eve, in the city of Nuremberg, Germany, a young girl named Marie along with a Nutcracker Prince embark on a truly unexpected journey to an enchanted winter wonderland. The show features the sights and sounds of the season such as snowflakes, toy soldiers, mischievous mice, and the ever-enchanting, Sugar Plum Fairy. Create lifelong memories with your family, and see this spectacular show’s beauty unfold right before your very eyes. The show duration is 1 hour and 54 minutes, with one intermission session. The show opens December 9th, and ticket are on sale starting at $25.
