Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Debby is of Swedish and Colombian descent and speaks Spanish fluently, in addition to her native English. Debby was raised in Miami and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. She brings a rare intimate knowledge of the city and its incredibly diverse neighborhoods to her career in real estate. She honed her skills in the high-end residential market and is proud to have witnessed the city’s growth as a thriving international center of business, entertainment, and luxury living.
Debby was fortunate to start her career in the ultra-luxury real estate space, working for the Senior Vice President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty, ranking as one of America’s top one percent agents with yearly sales of over $125 Million. Her experience in marketing homes from $1-45 million and using multi-channel strategies, including digital and print promotions, led her to be in high demand in this distinctive milieu. While at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty, Debby expanded and later worked for the Vice President along with other top-producing agents and teams. Her unique marketing strategies helped the properties she marketed outperform market competitors and led to over $300 million in luxury residential sales.
After years of working directly for some of America’s most sought-after top-rated agents and teams, Debby was recruited to lead the marketing efforts at Engel and Volkers Miami. She took the role of Director of Marketing, where she managed all of the brokerage’s marketing initiatives. Her responsibilities entailed leading public relations and corporate communications and being in charge of brand perception, community involvement, and relationships with strategic partners and some of Miami’s most well-known developers. Having assisted with the marketing efforts of over $500 million in luxury residential sales in her career history, Debby’s real estate prowess has given her marketing expert status coveted by the industry. Her knowledge extends to the fields of architecture, art, fashion, and technology. Her experience in software sales, along with her real estate marketing background, lend Debby a special perspective on Miami’s blossoming as a highly desirable city for tech businesses and how that affects clients in that sector.
